Join us in Mill 2 Gallery for Dis/Connect - a show by Air Gallery
17 - 31 May
Private view 16 May (6-9PM)
You're warmly invited to the opening of Dis/Connect, a group exhibition at 1853 Studios Mill 2 Gallery, bringing together the work of three emerging artists: Kelan Andrews, Nicky Nadine, and Qianjie Nie.
Dis/Connect explores the instability of self and the longing for connection in a time shaped by illness, technology, and emotional fragmentation. Across painting, sculpture, video, and installation, each artist responds to themes of bodily dissonance, digital intimacy, and the quiet griefs of contemporary life.
The works reflect on how we navigate closeness and distance—within our bodies, our relationships, and the world around us. Dis/Connect invites viewers to pause in the in-between spaces: where presence is uncertain, intimacy is refracted, and connection is never quite complete.
We’d love for you to join us for the opening, meet the artists, and experience this beautifully introspective collection of works.
